Evening of Black Excellence: Achievement and Graduation

The African American Faculty and Staff Association and the Center for African American Studies host a pre-commencement celebration of African and African American students, as well as students of various racial and ethnic backgrounds who minor in African American Studies or participate in programs offered by the Center for African American Studies. Students are eligible to participate in their commencement ceremony if they apply for graduation by the deadline and if they have completed all of the requirements for their degree program or will have completed all of those requirements by the end of the graduation term.
