Maverick Family & Guest Experience
Maverick Parents, Families, and Friends!
We welcome you and your family to The University of Texas at Arlington’s commencement ceremonies. During such unprecedented times we are facing, we could use some Maverick Family Pride to celebrate our student’s the Maverick Way!
Commencement marks a significant achievement for your student; they have worked hard to obtain their degrees and achieve their goals. There is no question that the support, motivation, and inspiration provided by their family and friends guided them along this journey to degree completion. Our goal is to engage, involve, educate, and support the entire Maverick family. Which means not only are these ceremonies meant to congratulate and honor our new graduates, but it is also an event to be shared with those who have helped them along the way. We cannot wait to meet you and your family!
NOTE: Be sure to review all commencement details below. If you have questions or concerns, please check-in with your student first. Graduating seniors receive direct communication from commencement staff and their colleges. If there are further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.
Arriving at Globe Life Field
Parking lots open 90 minutes before ceremony time, and doors will open one hour before the ceremony begins. We recommend making plans to arrive as lots open 90 minutes before the ceremony to allow time to park and make your way to the stadium entrance.
Our Globe Life Field parking and entrance map (pdf) depicts the lots and entry points being used for UTA commencement. Guests can enter Globe Life Field through the North, Northeast and Southwest Entrances.
Globe Life Field Bag Policy
For guests, all bags and purses must be soft sided and not exceed 16” x 16” x 8”. Backpacks are prohibited, except for single-compartment drawstring bags that do not exceed the MLB bag-size requirements of 16” x 16” x 8”. Exceptions are for those that are carried for medical reasons or manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children. All bags are subject to search before entering the ballpark. Strollers are permitted.
To enter commencement, you must present your guest tickets forwarded by your graduate in the MLB Ballpark App or through My Rangers Tickets. Printed or screenshotted tickets cannot be accepted at Globe Life Field.
All UTA Commencement tickets are general admission, meaning there are no assigned seats. Please arrive and select a seat that gives you the best view possible. Your ticket will display "GA##," but this is not an indicator of a specific seat and is simply a reference for the Globe Life Box Office.
Before you arrive, please ensure that your ticket lists the correct ceremony you are planning to attend. If you have trouble accessing the tickets shared by your graduate or other questions, contact EventTickets@TexasRangers.com.
Please visit our Guest Tickets page for details on the ticketing process.
