Out-of-state students will not qualify for Texas educator certification for AO Education Programs.

Currently enrolled students who reside in ineligible states will need approval to continue uninterrupted in their programs in accordance with applicable state laws. Approval is not guaranteed.

For the purposes of state authorization compliance, “state” is defined as a state, commonwealth, organized territory or district (District of Columbia) of the United States.

    Disclosures

Due to the constraints of international law the nurse practitioner programs do not operate outside of the United States. Requests received from a student to attend or continue in a non-nurse practitioner program from an international location are reviewed on an individual basis.

Prior to moving or accepting a travel assignment, students are required to email NursingSOA@uta.edu to discuss the implications on their progression to graduation and clinical placements and read the disclosures below.
