The College of Nursing and Health Innovation (CONHI) at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), seeks a statistician/biostatistician for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Graduate Nursing. We welcome applications from innovative scholars with a commitment to outstanding graduate education in statistics/biostatistics and who desire to teach, conduct research for publication in journals, collaborate on research projects and grants, and provide professional statistical guidance and support to faculty and students with research projects and grant activities.
Candidates with an active research program and external funding are strongly desired. Successful candidates will be expected to identify areas giving rise to particular methodological challenges, search the (bio)statistical literature to generate solutions to those challenges, articulate methodological limitations, and propose avenues for methodological innovation.
