CONHI seeks a faculty member who meets the qualifications for appointment at the rank of full professor with tenure to teach and conduct research-demonstrating leadership in gerontological nursing education. Relevant research backgrounds may include evaluation, health disparities, social determinants of health, and social and economic development among others.

This position is part of the Multi-Interprofessional Center for Health Informatics with an academic appointment in the Department of Kinesiology. Candidates should show evidence of exceptional research promise and are expected to establish a research portfolio, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, obtain research grants, and contribute to a new public health informatics program, including developing and teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Nursing Department in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for an Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs Non-tenure track position. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity in education through their scholarship, teaching, and/or service as well as a strong commitment to teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds.

Serves as a senior administrative leader on the Dean’s leadership team providing leadership and operational planning for the administrative and financial operations of the college. Exercise independent judgment and decision making in the management of diverse, high-level college responsibilities and oversight related to budget and to faculty and staff human resources; advise the Dean on issues including budgetary compliance, contract management, business development, OIT planning, space planning, facilities management, faculty/staff recruiting, conflict resolution, position management, and compensation review.

A Master of Business Administration (MBA), Health Care Administration Degree, or related field with 2 years supervisory experience.

Most CONHI funded researchers have laboratory and office space located in the new Science and Engineering Innovation & Research building, a state-of-the-art research facility, which is the signature center for life and health science research at UTA.
