Center for Research & Scholarship Travel Awards

Program Description

The College of Nursing and Health Innovation offers competitive travel awards to Nursing and Kinesiology Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows who travel to conferences to represent the program and the College through research and scholarship. These awards are designed to help defray the costs incurred by students and postdoctoral fellows who have the opportunity to present research at state, regional, national, or international conferences. These awards are funded by generous annual commitments from the Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Innovation.

The program is intended to support travel to conferences with an emphasis and priority on fostering oral and poster presentations. Students and postdoctoral fellows may receive one travel award per academic year. The total dollar amount of the award will be variable and dependent on meeting specifics including location and registration fees. A detailed cost budget should be provided with each application. Full support will be contingent on the number of applications received.

These are competitive awards and students should submit professional, complete applications.

Only complete applications submitted to the Center for Research and Scholarship will be considered for funding.
