UTARI Welcomes New Leader

In October, Richard Voyles joined the Maverick community as the new executive director for the UTA Research Institute.

Dr. Voyles is a distinguished leader and innovator in applied research. He previously worked at Purdue University, the National Science Foundation, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

As executive director, he will work to advance UTARI’s mission, expand its reach, and deepen its strategic partnerships. His proven experience in bridging the gap between academic research and industrial application will be invaluable as the institute continues to drive innovation throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.
