Filipinx American History Month

In the United States, Filipinx American History Month is celebrated annually in October. It was established by the Filipino American National Historical Society in 1988 and officially recognized by The U.S. Congress in October of 2009. This month honors the history, pursuits, accomplishments, and legacy of Filipinos in the United States. It also serves as a link for Filipinos to showcase their shared culture and heritage.
