Program Overview
UTA’s industrial engineering degree program allows students to pursue a broad program of study in industrial engineering or to specialize in areas such as general industrial engineering, manufacturing systems, ergonomics/human factors, or advanced analytics/operations research.
The Master of Science in Industrial Engineering is designed to provide the student with fundamental knowledge in multiple areas of industrial engineering. A student may pursue a broad based degree or they may specialize in a specific area such as general industrial engineering, manufacturing systems, ergonomics/human factors, or advanced analytics/operations research.
UTA offers the following post-baccalaureate certificates through the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering:

UTA’s Central Library FabLab boasts 8,000-square-feet of makerspace featuring 3D printers, laser cutters, screen printers, kilns, and much more for learners from any discipline or experience level. In addition to the FabLab, the College of Engineering boasts four makerspaces with a variety of equipment available to students who wish to create prototypes or complete projects.
