This workshop is Presented by UTA's Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility Coordinator, Laura Hopkins, MS ITM, CAPM, CPACC, CTCD/CTCM.
Join a hands-on workshop led by Laura Hopkins focused on making your Word documents accessible and adaptable across platforms. Developing accessible Word documents is essential for streamlining projects in Pressobooks, improving electronic theses and dissertation (ETD) submissions for graduate students, and sharing your work in a format that's usable and inclusive for all.
This two-hour session includes an hour of expert training followed by an hour of application time to practice techniques, form color contrast and alt text for images and formulas to accessible table creation, styles and heading structures.
Lunch will be provided for those that can join us in person.
Also, you may attend "Accessibility Workshop - Building Accessible Word Documents" via Teams.
