Master of Social Work Program

Advising for Current and Newly Admitted Students

All MSW majors must see an advisor prior to registration for their first and last semesters. Students may use the online scheduler to schedule an appointment; walk-ins are also welcomed.

Advising Schedule

To schedule an advising appointment, click on the the link for the appointment type you want (in the Advising Contacts section on the right-hand side). Be sure to make your appointment with the appropriate advisor for your program. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. If you are 15 minutes lat to your scheduled appointment, you may need to reschedule your appointment.

Degree Plan

When the student is admitted to the MSW program, a degree plan is generated, reviewed and submitted for approval. After approval, a copy of the degree plan is given to the student and a copy is placed in the student's file.

Course rolls are reviewed at the beginning of each semester. Students enrolled in a course without completion of required prerequisites will be dropped from the course.
