SAME DAY APPOINTMENT

Have quick questions, time sensitive needs, and last-minute schedule changes? Schedule a same-day appointment, either in-person or virtually, on Wednesdays.

Appointments are only 20 minutes and the link for scheduling opens on Wednesdays at 8:30am. Appointments start at 9:00am and are available on a first come basis. Be sure to select a service type (e.g., virtual or in-person) when scheduling your appointment.

Peak Period Advising

In addition to our regularly scheduled Same Day Appointments, we are now offering additional days for appointment scheduling.

Peak Period Advising provides additional, high‑demand advising availability during busy registration times to ensure students receive timely support when they need it most.

The scheduling link opens at 8:30am. Appointments are available from 9:00am to 4:00pm and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Advising Canvas Page

Need information about advising, writing resources, School of Social Work activities and UTA Resources, check out our Canvas page.

  • Open the Student Success course on your Canvas dashboard and enroll here. You'll find that it opens to a new home page.
  • On the home page, you'll see the names of the new modules, along with a brief description of their contents. Scroll down and click the module named "Academic Resources."
  • The Academic Resources menu will open. Find the page named "Writing Workshops." Under this page, you'll see a separate page for each of the recorded workshops. Locate the title you're interested in viewing, click on it, and you'll find the video and workshop notes.
