The Blaze Forward Program makes it even easier for eligible students to get a world-class education here at UTA!

Using a combination of grants, tuition waiver and scholarships, the Blaze Forward Program provides students meeting all eligibility requirements with funding that will cover 100% of their tuition and course fees for fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters.

On August 24, 2022, the Biden-Harris Administration announced a Student Debt Relief Plan that included a one-time student loan debt relief targeted to low- and middle-income families. Eligible loans include Federal Direct Student Loans disbursed prior to July 1, 2022.

After completing your FAFSA application, you will be notified via your UTA email account once your FAFSA has been received as well as if any documents are required to complete your financial aid file.

Scholarship deadline for Fall 2023 Freshmen and Transfers

April 18, 2022: Deadline to complete and submit financial aid forms to be considered for the Blaze Forward Program 

September 7, 2022: Census date for the Fall 2022 semester

October 1, 2022: 2023-2024 FAFSA and TASFA forms are available

December 1, 2022: Deadline for Presidential Honors and Presidential Scholarships for Fall 2023 Freshmen

February 14, 2023* Priority Date for the 2023-2024 Aid Year (Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024)

*Please complete your 2023-2024 FAFSA application, turn in all requested documents, and be admitted to UTA by February 14, 2023, to be considered for maximum grant funding for the 2023-2024 aid year.

Students who complete applications or are admitted after February 14 will receive a financial aid offer based on available funds at the time the application is completed.
