The 2026-27 FAFSA form is available to compete on StudentAid.gov. This application will apply you for financial aid for the summer 2026, fall 2026, and spring 2027 semesters. UTA's 2026-27 priority date is March 1, 2026. UTA will begin receiving completed 2026-27 FAFSA forms in November 2025. Once our office receives your completed form, we will notify you with next steps via your UTA email address.
The Blaze Forward Program makes it even easier for eligible students to get a world-class education here at UTA! Using a combination of grants, tuition waiver and scholarships, the Blaze Forward Program provides students meeting all eligibility requirements with funding that will cover 100% of their tuition and course fees for fall and spring semesters. The Blaze Forward Program does not cover other expenses including but not limited to housing, meals, and textbooks.The deadline to be considered for the 2025-26 aid year was March 1, 2025. The deadline to be considered for the 2026-27 aid year is March 1, 2026.

After completing your FAFSA form, you will be notified via your UTA email account once your FAFSA has been received as well as if any documents are required to complete your financial aid file. We will also update your To-Do List in your MyMav Student Homepage with any outstanding items.

March 1, 20261: Priority date for the 2026-2027 aid year (summer 2026, fall 2026, and spring 2027), the deadline for the 2026-27 Blaze Forward program, and the deadline to apply for all 2026-27 merit-based scholarships for incoming freshman and transfer students.
April 3, 2026: Last day to drop classes (non-AO) for the spring 2026 semester
April 6, 2026: Registration begins for the summer 2026 semester
May 22, 2026: Earliest disbursement of financial aid for the summer 2026 semester
1To be considered for maximum grant funding for the 2026-2027 aid year, a student must have been admitted to UTA by March 1, 2026, and all financial aid forms, including the 2026-2027 FAFSA form must have been received by the Office of Financial Aid by March 1, 2026.
