After completing your FAFSA application, you will be notified via your UTA email account once your FAFSA has been received as well as if any documents are required to complete your financial aid file.

IMPORTANT DATES
Scholarship deadline for Fall 2023 Freshmen and Transfers
February 14, 2023*: Priority Date for the 2023-2024 Aid Year (Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024)
2023-2024 Blaze Forward Program Deadline
March 31, 2023: Last day to drop spring classes
May 1, 2023: Deadline to accept Freshmen Merit-Based Scholarships
May 15, 2023: Class begins for the Summer Intersession (Maymester), first 7-week, and 14-week classes
May 26, 2023: Earliest disbursement date for the Summer 2023 semester (Maymester & First summer semesters)
June 5, 2023: Class begins for the first 5-week, and 11-week summer classes
*Please complete your 2023-2024 FAFSA form, turn in all requested documents, and be admitted to UTA by February 14, 2023, to be considered for maximum grant funding for the 2023-2024 aid year.
Students who complete applications or are admitted after February 14 will receive a financial aid offer based on available funds at the time the application is completed.
