Program Overview

Students wanting the benefits of face-to-face interaction with professors and peers have several convenient and flexible options to take course on campus in Arlington or at UTA Fort Worth.  Students can take face-to-face courses as part of a cohort or as a regular matriculating student taking courses offered per semester that are convenient for a busy schedule. Face-to-Face classes are offered weekdays in the daytime and evening.

Arlington Campus

For students wanting to participate in a face-to-face cohort at our Arlington campus, we offer four full-time cohorts. Two Advanced Standing cohorts start every summer, can be completed in 14 months and MSW students can specialize in Direct Practice with Children and Families or Direct Practice in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Two Traditional cohorts start every fall semester, can be completed in 24 months and MSW students can specialize in Direct Practice with Children and Families or Direct Practice in Mental Health and Substance Abuse.

Fort Worth Location

For students wanting to participate in a face-to-face cohort at our Fort Worth, we offer two full-time cohorts. The Advanced Standing cohort starts every summer and can be completed in 14 months. The Traditional cohort starts every fall semester and can be completed in 24 months. Students in the Fort Worth cohort specialize in Direct Practice with Children and Families and also receive and Administrative Certificate.
