Why get Advised?

  • To help you stay on track and graduate on time.
  • Our academic advisors can help you with planning your academics, and also connect you to any resources you might need to be successful in the program
  • If your GPA is a 3.25 or higher, you do not need to meet with your advisor, but we still strongly encourage it!

How often should I be advised?

We recommend all students see their advisor at least once a semester. In some cases, students are required to do so to remove academic holds that prevent registration. Simply make an appointment using our online scheduling system by clicking on the link below your advisor’s information. Be sure to select the correct advisor to avoid a delay in your appointment. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. If you are 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, you will need to reschedule your appointment.
