After completing your FAFSA form, you will be notified via your UTA email account once your FAFSA has been received as well as if any documents are required to complete your financial aid file. We will also update your To-Do List in your MyMav Student Homepage with any outstanding items.

Important Dates
March 1, 20261: Priority date for the 2026-2027 aid year (summer 2026, fall 2026, and spring 2027), the deadline for the 2026-27 Blaze Forward program, and the deadline to apply for all 2026-27 merit-based scholarships for incoming freshman and transfer students.
Nov. 1, 2026: The deadline to apply for spring 2027 merit-based scholarships for incoming first year and transfer students2.
January 2027: Earliest disbursement of financial aid for the spring 2027 semester (specific date TBD).
March 1, 20273: Priority date for the 2027-2028 aid year (summer 2027, fall 2027, and spring 2028), the deadline for the 2027-28 Blaze Forward program, and the deadline to apply for fall 2027 merit-based scholarships for incoming first year students.
May 1, 2027: The deadline to apply for fall 2027 merit-based scholarships for incoming transfer students.
1To be considered for maximum grant funding for the 2026-2027 aid year, a student must have been admitted to UTA by March 1, 2026, and all financial aid forms, including the 2026-2027 FAFSA form must have been received by the Office of Financial Aid by March 1, 2026.
