Maverick friends and families, you are cordially invited to attend Friends & Family Weekend. Join us for a weekend filled with family-centered programs and events during the most vibrant time of year. Friends & Family Weekend is hosted every fall semester in the 3rd weekend of October.

Maverick friends and families: you are cordially invited to attend Friends & Family Weekend 2025 on October 17th and 18th! Join us for a weekend filled with family-centered activities during the most vibrant time of year.
On-site registration will be available during the event check-in hours listed below. If you need to make changes to your registration form or if you have any questions about Friends & Family Weekend, please send an email to parents@uta.edu.

Event Dates: Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th
Refund Deadline: Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 at 5:00pm
Check-In Information
Check-in for Friends & Family Weekend will be at the University Center in front of the Bluebonnet Ballroom. Our check-in hours will be on Friday, October 17th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm and Saturday, October 18th from 10:00am - 2:00pm. You must complete check-in to access any activities for Friends & Family Weekend.
Ticket Information
Tickets are free for all UTA students and children ages 5 and under. All attendees, including students and children under 5, must be included on the registration form. Below are the prices for adults (18 and up) and youth (ages 6 to 17).
All-Access Pass | $75 for adults and $30 for youth.
Includes:
A Friends & Family Weekend event t-shirt
Access to Friends & Family Weekend activities on Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th
Light refreshments on Friday, October 17th
Breakfast and dinner on Saturday, October 18th
A ticket to the UTA Women's Volleyball game vs. Utah Tech on Saturday, October 18th
Admission to the UTA Planetarium on Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th
Event service administrative fee (e.g., facility maintenance, credit card transaction fees)
Saturday-Only Pass |$55 for adults and $30 for youth.
