Transition Programs

OFFICE OF TRANSITION PROGRAMS

The Office of Transition Programs facilitates the successful transition of Transfer Students, First-Generation College Students, and Off-Campus Mavericks (OCM) students that commute to campus and/or are enrolled in a remote degree program. Through targeted programs, events, resources, and services, all three populations fall under the purview of the Office of Transition Programs.

 

Transfer Student Services

The Office of Transfer Student Services works to support, educate and advocate for the needs of former Transfer students. Our office collaborates with students, faculty, staff and community leaders to ensure UTA is a transfer receptive institution that values their cultural wealth, wellbeing and success.

First-Generation College Students

Students that identify as being a first-generation college student is the FIRST in their biological family to attend an institution of higher education to include a two or four-year college or university.

Off Campus Mavericks

The Off-Campus Mavericks Center is a home-away-from-home for commuters. This organization is a resource to keep you informed about events and resources throughout the year.
