Freshmen Orientation Schedule

Summer School/Fall Enrollment (FTIC)

Your orientation includes two required components:

• Online pre-orientation modules
• A two-day in-person or virtual orientation experience

Pre-orientation modules become available after students register for orientation. Modules introduce students to key academic, campus, and transition resources at UTA.

Orientation sessions are offered throughout the year. Sessions include essential information and engaging activities.

Summer: All First-Time-In-College (FTIC) orientation sessions are two-day, in-person experiences. Students will select the orientation date that best fits their schedule.

Spring

The one-day orientation for spring semester students focuses primarily on academics, while also providing opportunities to learn about campus involvement and student services. Our orientation staff is always available to assist you in navigating your transition to UTA.
