New Maverick International Orientation is designed specifically for those students who are starting UTA with an F-1 or J-1 visa. Making new friends, asking questions of the Maverick Orientation Leaders, and learning how things work at UT Arlington will help make your transition much easier. 

International Orientation is a one-day program (8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m.), while International Orientation for new freshmen could also be an two day program if selected.  

Your orientation will consist of two parts: online pre-orientation modules and a live orientation program. The pre-orientation modules will be available once you register for your orientation session and introduce you to various aspects of UTA.
