Physics Lab Information

All Physics Labs start on Monday January 30, 2023 

  • Purchase your Lab Manual from UTA Bookstore before heading to lab
    •  PHYS - 1441 or 1443: Mechanics and Sound
    • PHYS - 1442 or 1444: Electricity and Light
    • Complete the pre-lab section prior to lab sessions
    • There is a separate Canvas Course for the Labs. Your TA will post the Lab Syllabus.

 

For all PHYS - 1441, 1442, 1443, and 1444 Labs:

Your lab sessions will rotate between In-person Labs and Online Labs, each week.

If your lab is in-person for the first week, you will have online lab for the second week. And vice-versa.

Other Details:

There will be 8 labs and a final exam for all 144x labs. Labs are worth 80%, and exam is worth 20 % of the final grade.  
Grade Policy --
Lab grading is based upon:
• Shown Calculations.
• Analysis of every experiments.
• Completed Graphs.
• Answer provided to given Problems.
• Data accuracy.

There are no make up labs or exam
