Technical Support Resources

Please review the information below to ensure your system configuration is compatible with UTA's Canvas instance. Support resources are detailed in the event that you need additional assistance to resolve an issue.

System Configuration

For best performance, CDE recommends using the latest release of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers along with a wired Internet connection. If you are unable to use a wired connection, CDE recommends performing a speed test prior to working in Canvas. While Canvas states the system is compatible with Safari and Edge browsers, issues are frequently reported. For full details on supported browsers, operating systems and to check your browser, please review the Canvas Requirements page.

UTA contracts with Canvas to provide 24/7 Level 1 Canvas support for faculty and students. Users may call, chat or submit a web ticket. Calls and chats are generally answered more quickly.
