Get to Know UTA

As of Fall 2025, UT Arlington enrolled 42,710 students, 30,706 at the undergraduate level, 1,692 post baccalaureates, and 10,312 at the graduate level, according to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Our student body is drawn from almost every state in the United States and more than 100 countries. UT Arlington is one of the most ethnically diverse campuses in the United States, according to rankings of national universities published by U.S. News & World Report in 2020. In Fall 2025, the student population was 34.7% Hispanic, 15% African American, and 12% Asian. UT Arlington has been designated a Hispanic-Serving and an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution by the U.S. Department of Education.

More specifically, The Office of Student Organizations houses over 350+ organizations registered in MavEngage. We have registered over 6,500+ student organization events via online registration. Our types of student organizations include, but are not limited to academic associations, cultural/international groups, honorary/recognition societies, professional societies, recreation/sport clubs, social fraternities and sororities, special interests, and spiritual/faith-based groups. Our goal is to empower students and enrich the campus experience. We seek to not only promote involvement, but also increase resources, support, and school spirit overall!
