Freight Services

Freight deliveries are received at the Wetsel Service Center to take advantage of our loading docks. We are equipped with an Internal Tracking system utilizing both the Carrier’s tracking number and UTA’s employee database to ensure a proper chain of custody. Freight deliveries are scheduled with the corresponding departments to prepare for large shipments. We have two large box trucks and two open bed trucks to handle most Freight deliveries. We have an inside forklift and an outside forklift at the Wetsel Service Center to assist with loading and unloading, but we do not offer forklift services on campus. We cannot open any crate or remove items from a pallet upon receipt or delivery.

Delivery Schedule:

We will contact departments to schedule freight delivery. For updates or changes to the freight delivery schedule, please refer to the Delivery Schedule page for latest information.

Storage:

When ordering, please take into consideration that we cannot hold packages or freight for any amount of time outside of our normal delivery schedule. Warehouse Space is limited and incoming volumes fluctuate daily.

Outgoing Freight Shipments:

Departments are responsible for all outgoing freight shipments.
