Community Development & Recognition

While getting a degree is the primary reason to attend UTA, fraternities and sororities offer opportunities for social interaction and development as well.

Community Programming

The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life hosts several annual programs to bring together members of the fraternity and sorority community, celebrate Maverick pride, and serve our local community. These events include nights at UTA athletic events, Homecoming, community service at Mission Arlington, and the Great Pumpkin Carnival hosted in collaboration with Order of Omega.

2024 F&SL ANNUAL AWARDS

About F&SL Awards

The Fraternity and Sorority Awards annually recognize individuals and chapters for their accomplishments during the previous year. Organizations have the opportunity to apply for awards, recognizing the work of the chapter on and off campus. Individual awards are based on applications, and in some cases, an interview. Individual award applications will open in the early spring and are due in early April of each year. The ceremony is held each April to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of the previous year.
