Fraternity and Sorority Life Community Center

The Fraternity and Sorority Life Community Center is the home for Fraternity and Sorority life. The 8,900-square-foot building on Greek Row Drive features meeting rooms, banquet spaces, a library and a flexible outdoor area. It formally opened with a ribbon cutting on February 27, 2025. The space is designed to bring chapters and alumni together across councils, it fills a long-standing need for shared programming and community space.

Community Center Specifications

Reservations

  • For student organizations and departments: All reservations are via MavEngage.
  • For external organizations or alumni groups please email fsl@uta.edu.
  • All reservations require 5 business day request.
  • Events that include parking requests, will have more than 25 and catering require 10 business days to secure campus partners.
  • If you are requesting a reservation that is outside normal business hours, we do require 30 days advance notice in order to guarantee staffing for your reservation.

Equipment

  • All conference and banquet rooms are equipped with TV monitors and ShareMersive, an interactive display system used to display digital content.
  • Legacy Hall will have microphones and built in sound system as well.
Standard Conference Room Information
  • Capacity: 20 persons
  • Setup: Standard Conference Room Setup
  • Fees: If booking outside normal business hours or a non-UTA Student Organization Fees may apply.
    • Any additional fees due to cleaning needs or damages will be assessed as needed.

Guidelines:
  • No food or drink, other than pre-packaged snacks are allowed in the space. For catered or prepared food, the kitchen must be reserved with your space reservation.
  • No painting, glitter, confetti allowed in the space.
  • Nothing can be affixed to the walls.
Standard Legacy Hall Information
  • Capacity: Between 48-100
  • Setup:
    • Banquet/Pod Max Capacity: 48 (link picture pods)
    • Classroom Style Max Capacity: 52 (link picture academic)
    • Theatre: 100 (link theatre)
  • Fees: The following a fees could apply depending on attendee size, food, guests, hours, agency/organization.
    • Clean up fees range from $25 - $150
    • Parking: minimum $50
    • After hour fees: $100/hour
    • Rental Fees: Depending on organization type fees will vary; building closure fee $150/90 minutes $25 - $75
    • Late request
    • Payments must be made within 14 business days of event.
    • Any additional fees due to cleaning needs or damages will be assessed as needed.
