PAYING FOR THE LANGUAGE TEST

 

Please select the language test you want to purchase from the list below. Read all information carefully before you make a payment.

 

Qualifying for the Global Seal of Biliteracy in one of the languages that we offer at UTA MODL (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Korean, Russian, or Spanish) can potentially allow you to add 14 lower-level language credits to your transcript and waive a UTA language requirement (credit posting fees apply). Contact modltesting@uta.edu for more details. However, if you know you need to test for language credits, please use the registration link on the MODL Testing page instead.

 

Obtaining the Global Seal of Biliteracy in languages that are not offered at UTA will not result in UTA college credits or waiving UTA language requirements. 

 

If you are a UTA student or staff member, we assume that in addition to the language you want to test, you are proficient in English, as UTA is an English-speaking institution. However, if English is not your first/dominant language and you wish to designate another language as your first language and take the English test as your second language, you may do so. Please review the instructions on how to confirm your first language and contact us at proficiency@uta.edu before purchasing the English test.
