Study Abroad in Paris, France, or Montreal, Canada

Earn up to 6 credits this summer by studying French in a French-speaking city! Hone your language skills and immerse yourself in Francophone culture while taking in the sights and sounds of the city and its environs.

Study Abroad in Germany

Study German in Berlin! Berlin, Germany’s capital, is the nation’s largest city with 3.7 million residents. It is a world-class city and economic powerhouse known for its festivals, museums, universities, vibrant nightlife, and arts scene. It is the perfect place to immerse yourself in German culture.

The UTA Summer Study Abroad Program in Berlin is offered every two years. Students are required to have completed four semesters of German, GERM 1441-GERM 2314, prior to participation. In Berlin, students enroll in GERM 3313 Urban Dialogue and GERM 4321 German Cities Through Literature.

Study Abroad in Russia

Our alumni and current students have travelled to Russia to study Russian language and culture at the Voronezh State University and at Omsk State University. These abroad programs can last anywhere from a few weeks to a year, depending on each student’s preferences and academic plans.

Study Abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico

Cuernavaca is a charming colonial city with a population of 500,000. It is located in the heart of Mexico (50 miles south of Mexico City) and is known for its Eternal Spring. Live with a Mexican host family and completely immerse yourself in the language and culture of Mexico through constant contact with these and other native speakers. Small group classes are conducted in Spanish at the Spanish Language Institute, a professional language school devoted to the teaching of the Spanish language and the culture of Latin America.
