Undergraduate Studies

The Department of Modern Languages helps build linguistic and cultural knowledge for intercultural competence in eight world languages: American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Korean, Russian, and Spanish. We offer four distinct Bachelor of Arts degrees, as well as a wide variety of minors and certificates.

Graduate Studies

The Department of Modern Languages provides innovative educational experiences in French and Spanish in a variety of areas including language, literature, culture, linguistics, pedagogy, and translation studies. Our programs include a 36-hour Master of Arts degree as well as 18-hour graduate certificates.
