Co-Branding and Sponsorship
Paired Logos, External
When the UTA logo is used alongside another logo or on external materials (e.g., a company’s or institution’s website), an agreement may be required. This agreement must be coordinated through Licensing, managed by the UT System. For more information and contact details, visit: UT System Corporate Sponsors.
Additional review may be conducted by University Communications or Legal if necessary. The following considerations guide the review process:
- Purpose of Use: The context and purpose of UTA logo placement must not imply endorsement of external products or services.
- Nature of the Organization: Determine whether the external entity is:
- A for-profit company.
- A service provider to UTA.
- An advocacy or professional organization
- Agreements: Review any existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), contracts, or agreements to determine if logo usage is pre-authorized.
