To determine if an item is considered printed material or non-printed material, ask: “Could I purchase this item at the campus bookstore?”
Example:
- Printed Material: Business cards (typically not sold in bookstores).
- Non-Printed Material: Notebooks (commonly sold in bookstores).
Printed Materials That DO NOT Require Licensed Vendors:
- Business Cards
- Letterhead
- Brochures & Pamphlets
- Flyers
- Promotional Posters
- Schedule Posters & Cards
- Web Graphics & Social Media Graphics
- Video/Photography Graphics
- Department Banners
- Building Signage
- University Vehicle Signage
Items That REQUIRE Licensed Vendors (Often Mistaken for Printed Materials):
- Pocket Folders
- Notepads
- Notebooks
- Day Planners
- Portfolios
- Binders
- Decals
- Tablecloths
- Flags
