UTA Initials Logo
The initials logo may be used independently only under the following conditions:
- As part of a unit’s official signature.
- In designs with severe spatial constraints where the wordmark cannot be accommodated.
The logomark may be used without the wordmark in specific instances such as:
- Within a unit’s signature.
- When space limitations make the inclusion of the wordmark impractical.
- All such usage must adhere to the clear space and size requirements.
Wordmark
When the name "The University of Texas at Arlington" is used as a standalone graphic element separate from the signature, a horizontal configuration must be used. This configuration must not be altered or reconfigured in any way.
Bevel on the Star
The white bevel (or lighter bevel, such as in all-blue or all-orange logos) on the star must always appear on the left.
Clear Space
Maintain clear space equal to the width of the “T” crossbar around the logo. When the signature is used as a logo, it must maintain its own clear space, which is defined as the width of the “T” in the “UTA” logomark. This ensures visibility and brand integrity. Special exceptions may be granted in cases where space is significantly limited. Requests for exceptions should be reviewed and approved by the branding team.
