Student Accounts is going cashless

Effective January 1, 2026

The Office of Student Accounts will transition to a cashless payment system. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance safety and efficiency for our students and staff.

What This Means for You

Cash will no longer be accepted for payments made to Student Accounts. We encourage all students to take advantage of our secure and convenient online payment options, including:

  • Electronic Check (ACH)
  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card
  • International Wire Payments

You can access these options through your MyMav Student Center.

In-Person Payment Options Still Available

While cash will no longer be accepted, students may still make payments in person using:

  • Personal Checks
  • Money Orders
  • Cashier's Checks
  • Demand Drafts (International Checks)

These can be submitted at the Student Accounts Office during regular business hours, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.

Convenience Fee for Debit and Credit Cards

All credit or debit card payments will be assessed a non-refundable 2.25% convenience fee. The following payment methods do not incur the convenience fee:

  • ACH Payments/E-Checks (Click here for an instructional video)
  • Checks (Personal, Cashier's, Traveler's, Certified and Third Party)
  • Cash Money Orders
  • Wire Payments
