Integrate the Maverick Advantage Hallmarks

CRTLE partners with faculty to advance evidence-based, technology‑enhanced teaching that improves learning, equity, and student success across UTA. Through consultations, professional development, signature programs, and collaborative initiatives, we help faculty design, refine, and scale high‑impact pedagogy.

We guide faculty in choosing and effectively using digital tools including Adobe Express & Firefly, H5P, Canvas, aPlus+ Attendance, generative AI tools, and emerging instructional technologies to align with teaching goals. Our Technology Test Kitchen, Adobe partnership, and hands‑on workshops support instructors as they experiment, practice, and integrate new tools into their courses.

CRTLE supports faculty in designing assignments and activities that strengthen students’ analytical reasoning, problem-solving, argumentation, and reflective learning, all skills essential for academic and career success.

We help faculty implement active, inquiry-driven, and experiential approaches, including flipped classrooms, project‑based learning, digital storytelling, case‑based teaching, and research‑focused assignments.

CRTLE collaborates with faculty to embed the five Maverick Advantage hallmarks: Leadership Development, Undergraduate Research, Community Engagement, Career Development, and Global Engagement into curriculum and course design.
