Third Year Pre-Tenure Review

The third year pre-tenure annual review serves as a critical midpoint evaluation in the tenure-track process. Its purpose is to assess a faculty member's progress toward tenure while offering constructive feedback across the areas of teaching, research, and service. This review provides an opportunity for meaningful guidance and adjustments well in advance of the formal tenure decision.

Third Year Reviews are conducted in Watermark/Digital Measures (W/DM). Tenure-track faculty scheduled for a third-year review will receive an email notification once the review process has been initiated. Please refer to the schedule for due dates.

For assistance with W/DM, we encourage you to attend one of the available training sessions to learn how to generate your Third Year Review report. We also recommend ensuring that your activities for the past three years are fully updated in W/DM prior to the submission deadline.

Please visit UTA Watermark/Digital Measures for the training dates, and be sure to RSVP for the session that best meets your needs.
