About Bed Races

Bed Races is the longest running tradition on campus dating back over 30 years. Currently held in Maverick Stadium, Bed Races is a one night event on March 29th. Teams of five push a wheeled bed 40 yards to attempt to run the fastest time. Top times of men’s, women’s, and co-ed divisions participate in a final heat to determine an overall winner in each division.

Event Date: Wednesday, March 29, 2023

Event Location: Maverick Stadium

Event Time: Doors: 6:30 pm, Captains Meeting: 7:15 pm, and Races: 7:30

Registration opens Spring 2023.

Early Registration: $40 per team

Late Registration Deadline: $50 per team
