    • Provide clear instructions for all quizzes, exams, and finals.
    • One agreement applies to all students in the same course section.
  2. Provide Exams on Time
    • Upload or deliver exam materials at least 1 business day before the test date.
    • Submit files in an adjustable format (Word preferred).
    • Late exams may require student rescheduling to maintain accommodation compliance.
  3. Communicate Exam Changes
    • Inform the ATC promptly if exam instructions, formats, materials, or dates change.
  4. Maintain Communication
    • Keep your course contact information up to date.
    • Have Teams available during exam periods so ATC staff can reach you regarding student questions.
  5. Stay Informed
    • Review ATC policies regularly.
    • ATC will notify faculty of any policy updates.

About ATC Exam Scheduling (For Faculty Awareness)

Students must:

  • Request accommodations in AIM early each semester.
  • Schedule exams 3 business days in advance (regular exams/quizzes).
  • Schedule finals 7 business days before final exams begin.
  • Test during class time unless:
    • Extended time overlaps with another course
    • ATC hours conflict
    • Faculty approves an alternate time

If students miss scheduling deadlines, they may:

  • Need to test in the classroom without accommodations, or
  • Require your approval for a late ATC request (depending on availability).

Exam Administration Notes

  • Students may begin testing up to 15 minutes early.
  • Only approved materials are allowed in the testing space.
  • ATC is fully monitored by cameras; academic integrity concerns are documented and shared with faculty.
  • Students may take short respite breaks unless restricted by the faculty.

    • You receive an automated email when files are ready.
  • Pick-Up
    • You or your designee may pick up completed exams from the ATC.
