Breezeway Bash

Welcome Back & Student Organization Fair

Join the College of Science for a cool treat from Rita's Italian Ice and a chance to connect with other Maverick Scientists at the student welcome back event and science-specific activities fair in the breezeway outside the Life Science Building on August 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cool off with a refreshment, meet other science majors and find your community in one of the college's student organizations.

Student Organization Registration 

Please complete the form below to officially register your organization for a table at our Breezeway Bash on August 29 from 11 AM to 2 PM in the courtyard between the two wings of the Life Sciences Building. This will be an opportunity to welcome new and returning students to the College of Science and help them find science organizations that are a good fit for them, and for you to gain new members. The first 24 science organizations to register will be guaranteed a table. Additional organizations will be placed on a waiting list and notified if space becomes available.

The deadline to register your organization is Wednesday, August 24.

At this time, organizations are limited to two representatives per table at a time during the organization fair – breaking the time up into shifts is allowed and encouraged. Your organization representatives will be provided with ink stamps to stamp visiting student's BINGO cards at your organization's table. Students will then exchange their completed BINGO cards for a frozen treat at the event. More instructions about this process will be provided to your organization members at check-in.
