A CAREER AS A VETERINARIAN

A veterinarian is an animal doctor. They diagnose, treat, and provide preventative care for many different species of animals. Veterinarians can have varying duties but often include performing physical exams, giving vaccinations, prescribing medications, providing dental care, and performing surgical procedures. They also play a role in educating pet caretakers, animal welfare, and monitoring the spread of diseases passed between animals and humans.
