The Science Learning Center (SLC) is a valuable academic asset for College of Science students. Our goal is to help students succeed in the classroom and lab by providing resources that reinforce and build upon their regular course instruction.

The SLC offers resource materials and study aids for students in biology, chemistry and biochemistry, mathematics, physics, and psychology classes. In addition to educational materials, we offer resources on careers in science. Books, Kaplan MCAT reviews and practice tests, DVDs, and a full range of anatomical models are among the materials available at the SLC. Check out our other SLC webpages to see everything we offer.

Students can check out materials and study individually or in groups in our large lounge study room in Life Sciences Building, Room 106. We also have a quiet study room in Life Sciences Building, Room 103.

The SLC is open Monday-Friday during the fall and spring semesters; visitors should follow all UTA health and safety protocols. A current MavExpress ID card is required to check out SLC materials. We look forward to seeing you!
