Transfer Scholarship

UTA offers scholarship support to high performing, incoming, undergraduate, transfer students that are working on their first baccalaureate degree. The value of our transfer scholarship awards ranges from $1,000 to $6,000 per year for fall and spring opportunities and may be renewed for up to one year. Students are offered the highest scholarship value they are eligible to receive based on their academic credentials and available funds. The award amounts vary based upon the individual profile. Please note, spring Transfer Scholarships are only available to Texas Residents.

Eligible transfer students must meet or exceed these requirements:

• 3.25 minimum cumulative transfer GPA
• 24 transferable credit hours by the scholarship deadline

Fall scholarship opportunities may include a non-resident grant or waiver for students that are not residents of the State of Texas. Grants and waivers reduce tuition and fees for up to two years if the student remains in good academic standing for the duration of the scholarship.
