Vice Provost for Academic Affairs Search

Position Overview:

UT Arlington invites applications for the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. Reporting directly to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice Provost for Academic affairs will join a vibrant and engaged UT Arlington community to provide executive-level leadership to plan, lead and implement key academic initiatives across all Colleges and Schools.

The Vice Provost is responsible for implementing processes that ensure the integrity, quality and fiscal viability of all academic programs and for providing oversight of policies and procedures governing the graduate and undergraduate curriculum This includes supporting departments and colleges in launching new academic programs and providing oversight and monitoring of academic centers. Additionally, this role provides leadership and guidance for academic program review, academic accreditation and compliance requirements, including the reaffirmation process required by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. This individual will be entrepreneurial, cultivating relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, strengthening UTA as an institution of access and excellence, and working to support and implement vision and strategies in accordance with the University’s strategic plan.
