Elaine Jung Finley
Senior Innovation Manager
Elaine Jung Finley is the Senior Innovation Manager for the University of Texas at Arlington.
In this role, Elaine leads collaboration and technology evaluation with UTA's talented faculty. She is identifying promising university research, fostering strategic partnerships, and creating pathways for innovation to provide societal benefit beyond the laboratory.
Elaine is an experienced professional with more than 20 years in operations, strategy, and project management at both Fortune 500 companies & Start Ups across a variety of industries, including Automotive, Medical Devices, & Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). Her passion is identifying all the possibilities of driving innovation to commercialization for sustainable growth.
Elaine holds a Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University and completed overseas studies at The University of London and The University of Tokyo Todai focused on Social Sciences and Material Distribution, respectively.
Outside of the workplace, you’ll find Elaine in nature riding bikes & snowboards, in the kitchen creating a beautiful meal with nourishing ingredients for longevity, and in gyms watching her daughter play club volleyball.
