UTA Membership
UTA Members of the National Academy of Inventors
UT Arlington boasts 13 NAI senior members and 22 fellows. The NAI fellows program highlights academic inventors who have demonstrated a spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society. NAI fellowship is the highest professional distinction accorded solely to academic inventors.
UTA inventors contribute to the UT System patents where the system routinely ranks as one of the Top 100 Worldwide Universities in Patents.
In 2022, UTA innovators and inventors received 31 patents, contributing to the University of Texas System’s overall No. 3 ranking in the list of Top 100 U.S. Universities Granted Utility Patents in 2022.
