Audio Production Camp

Utilizing UT Arlington's world-class recording studio, new SSL 924 mixing board, production software and equipment, students will learn recording techniques, equipment selection including microphone choice, post-production techniques such as mixing and editing, MIDI basics, film scoring, video game audio and more. Students will team up with the Jazz Camp to record live bands in the studio. This camp is appropriate for students interested in an audio production or related career field. All experience levels welcome!

This summer we are planning on offering two tracks: beginning and advanced tracks for students at different experience levels. The students will take different classes based on their level of proficiency. The advanced track will be perfect for students that attended the camp in previous summers and would like to return and learn new material, while the beginning track is designed for students just beginning to learn about audio production.
