Devlin DeCutler

Devlin DeCutler has been the director of Choir, Modern Band, and Music Theory at Townview Magnet Center since 2006. Under his leadership, the programs have received numerous awards and national recognition including a Grammy Signature Award in 2022. The Townview Music ensembles consistently earn 1st division ratings at regional competitions and perform at prestigious venues including the AT&T Performing Arts Center and the Texas Music Educators Association Annual Conference. The Music Theory program has a 100% passing rate on the College Board AP test for over a decade. Devlin has also cultivated partnerships with his school and the Metropolitan Opera, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Music Will, the Dallas Bach Society, and the Verdigris Ensemble. Many of Devlin’s students have achieved great success beyond high school, including Grammy nominations, international performances, and significant artistic collaborations.
