Special Eclipse-Related Field Trips

Thanks to a grant funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the UTA Planetarium is offering, for a limited time, special eclipse-related field trips for you and your students! This opportunity is only available to the first 1,500 students registered by an ISD, so submit your field trip request with us today. 

An Eclipse-Related Field Trip will include:

  • Paid student admission to the UTA Planetarium
  • Eclipse-Safe glasses for each student
  • An hour planetarium show that will feature:
  • Your choice of pre-recorded show from our show book
  • A live star talk from one of our Planetarium Educators explaining the science behind a solar eclipse
  • Q&A session

The admission is paid for by NSF and the eclipse glasses are provided by NASA. Transportation is not included and must be arranged individually and prior to the visit.
