A New Sound
ARLINGTON, Texas – The Washington Post hired 2017 alumna Linah Mohammad as associate producer for its new podcast “Post Reports,” which debuted in December.
Mohammad double majored in journalism and broadcasting and double minored in Arabic and political science. With a goal of becoming an international correspondent, she was looking for a full-time position in contrast to her contract-based position at NPR.
“Being part of the team that launched the podcast was absolutely exciting,” Mohammad said. “You’re getting to create something from scratch, and you have an input and say on what the final product will sound like.”
