As a new transfer student, orientation is a required. It's a great way to meet new Mavericks, learn about resources and register for classes.

Next Steps for Admitted Students

SUBMIT YOUR FINAL SEMESTER TRANSCRIPT

Don't forget to submit an official transcript from your final semester at your previous institution with your graduation date to the Office of Admissions. The fastest method is electronically--sent directly from your school. If you are asked for an email address, use records@uta.edu. However, we will accept transcripts by mail or in person.

SUBMIT MENINGITIS DOCUMENTATION

All students under the age of 22 are required to be immunized against bacterial meningitis before they enroll at UTA. You can submit your documents to Admissions, Records, and Registration.

VERIFY YOUR TEXAS SUCCESS INITIATIVE TSI STATUS

You can find out if you are TSI liable by checking your status in MyMav. If you're liable you will need to turn in any necessary documentation before registering for classes.

ATTEND AN ACADEMIC ADVISING SESSION

You need to meet with an academic advisor in your academic department to be advised. You'll work with your advisor to determine your class schedule and set up your degree plan.
