A full-day event that gives future first-year and transfer students a close-up look at what UTA has to offer.

Event Details

Maverick Experience is the most comprehensive opportunity to learn about UTA academics, resources, and student life, all in one place. This event is open to future first-year and transfer students wanting to learn more about the amazing opportunities at UTA. During Maverick Experience you’ll have the chance to learn about admissions, financial aid, and UTA’s academic colleges. You will also be able to take a campus tour, see our housing facilities, and receive help submitting your UTA application. Check-in for Maverick Experience opens at 8 a.m. and the first session of the day begins at 9 a.m. Maverick Experience ends at approximately 3 p.m., and lunch is provided for you and your guests.

**Please note that this event is not an orientation program. Admitted students are still required to attend New Maverick Orientation.

How to Download

1. Download the free Guidebook app from the Apple or Google Play Store.
2. Search within the app "UT Arlington-Campus Tours"
3. Choose the Maverick Experience folder and view Maverick Experience Schedule
4. Select sessions you are interested in and then select "Add to My Schedule".
You are not required to attend the sessions you select in Guidebook - this tool is to help you organize your day.

Instructions for Parking on Campus

Guests should park in West Campus Garage. Please follow the button below and use these instructions to register your vehicle for the event.

  1. Select Department-Hosted Event 
  2. Select Maverick Experience
  3. Voucher Code: MAVUP
  4. Select Permit Type: (EVT-COMP) General Lots
  5. Select the active date
  6. Add vehicle info and confirm
