The Smart Agriculture Research Center (SARC) is dedicated to advancing research and developing innovative science and technologies that deliver practical solutions to agricultural and natural resource challenges. We provide a collaborative platform for building and managing multidisciplinary teams that bring together expertise in science, engineering, agriculture, and industry practitioners. Our efforts also focus on fostering sustainable partnerships with regional businesses and industries to commercialize new solutions and products.

We actively cultivate strong relationships with private, state, and federal agricultural research and extension institutions to secure extramural funding through research agreements and competitive proposals. By engaging both undergraduate and graduate students in our projects, we enhance their educational experience and prepare them for future success.
